This video presents the song, Cobbler, Cobbler, in a video rendition. Learners will enjoy watching and learning about the job of a cobbler while preparing to learn to sing the melody.

This introductory activity presents a performance of Im Bim Babaró by an ensemble including voice, cello, and guitar in an audio-only form. Without visual stimulation, learners can focus fully on the sonic musical experience of listening. This will be the first time learners will hear the familiar lyrics of Im Bim Babaró married to the melody. The soundtrack commences with an instrumental introduction in 3-time which flows directly into the song in 4-time. At a later stage, learners will discover ways to distinguish between 3-time and 4-time. But for now, just listen and enjoy the sensations this music creates.

This activity provides an opportunity for learners to connect their musical experience to other domains of knowledge and interest. Learners will create a presentation of Fun Facts they discover about the sheep family. The presentation can be done in any way that is creative, practical, and appropriate (when considering age, learning stage, and capacity).
