The aim of this activity is to commit verse 3 of the lyrics to Twinkle, Twinkle to memory. Revisit this activity if required to ensure all learners are confident with the lyrics.

Learners will have an opportunity to listen to and enjoy a performance of Twinkle, Twinkle, by a quartet of bowed stringed instruments and voice. Learners will hear the melodic line married to the lyrics they have previously learned. Listening with focus and concentration will help to enable powers of musical observation.

A creative activity. Learners are offered an opportunity to create a Music Journal entry by decorating a Lyric Page for the song, Twinkle, Twinkle. Add this page to the Music Journal to keep a record of learnings achieved throughout the year.
